Dr Vivienne Dascanio

Vivienne is the Director and Consultant Physiotherapist at VCF Physiotherapy. She qualified from Coventry University in July 1998 and founded VCF Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in March 2003, growing and developing the practice ever since.
Vivienne is passionate about supporting patients throughout their recovery journey, helping them return to sport, work, and the activities they enjoy most. She specialises in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sports Injuries, and has a particular interest in Occupational Health and Acupuncture.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Vivienne completed her PhD in Manual Therapy and Acupuncture for Low Back Pain at the University of York. She is also passionate about teaching and has developed an extensive in-house training programme to support and mentor the VCF Physiotherapy team.
Outside of work, Vivienne is a keen netball player and has enjoyed the sport for many years. She also loves spending time with her family. Her son is now proudly taller than she is, and together her family also foster children — meaning their home is always full of energy, laughter, and happiness.
Becci Collier
Senior Physiotherapist

Becci joined Team VCF in November 2017 and has continued to develop her clinical knowledge and expertise ever since.
Over recent years, Becci has gained extensive experience in Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Occupational Health physiotherapy, while also developing a strong interest in paediatric physiotherapy, women’s health, and pregnancy-related care. Following additional specialist training completed in 2025 by Becci, VCF Physiotherapy achieved the Kids Back 2 Sport recognition.
Becci thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients and supporting them to achieve their goals and full potential. She is also a brilliant mentor to her colleagues and inspires the team every day with her knowledge, kindness, and dedication.
Outside of the clinic, Becci enjoys travelling with her husband, exploring new places, sightseeing, and discovering different cuisines. Her favourite trip so far has been Japan, thanks to its beautiful scenery, fascinating culture, and incredible food.
Mia Barford
Chartered Physiotherapist

Mia joined Team VCF in December 2020 and has a particular interest in Sports Injuries, Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, and performance rehabilitation for both adults and children. She has also successfully transferred these skills and her passion into Neurorehabilitation and Occupational Health physiotherapy.
A few years ago, Mia spent six weeks in Kenya working with elite marathon runners, gaining valuable experience and insight into high-level rehabilitation and athletic performance, while building lasting friendships and professional connections along the way.
Mia is a highly driven physiotherapist who is always striving to do the very best for her patients. Full of energy, positivity, and enthusiasm, she brings smiles and laughter to the clinic every day and never fails to brighten the atmosphere for both patients and colleagues alike.
Outside of the clinic, Mia regularly plays netball, attends reformer Pilates classes, and enjoys skiing whenever she gets the opportunity. Her active lifestyle helps her understand the challenges of balancing rehabilitation with busy day-to-day life, allowing her to create realistic and achievable treatment plans tailored to each patient.
Olivia Smith
Physiotherapy Technician / 4th Year Apprentice

Olivia joined Team VCF in September 2022 and has a particular interest in Sports Injuries and Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
She enjoys supporting patients throughout their recovery journey and helping them return to sport, work, and the activities they love with confidence. Olivia has also played an important role in developing the hydrotherapy service at VCF and has supported many rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation patients through their recovery journeys.
Olivia is a passionate, caring, and dedicated member of the team — qualities that make her an excellent member of the team. She also has exceptional organisational skills and helps keep the clinic running smoothly, with many of the positive improvements within the practice supported by her enthusiasm and attention to detail.
Outside of work, Olivia regularly plays football and enjoys going to the gym, giving her a strong appreciation of the physical demands of sport, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. In her spare time, she also enjoys baking and creating sweet treats for friends and family.
